BRSBBCMFSSL: CMF Metalworks Modified Barebones, Satin Slicer
Bladerunners Systems

Introducing the Barebones! The foundation of the Barebones' design consisted of two objectives; to make a balisong that everyone could afford and to maintain the high-performance level that BRS Knives are known for. Well, goal accomplished in the Barebones. It's a sleek design that takes similar form and dimensions as its predecessors (Alpha Beast and Replicant), but fuses its own unique attributes to make it a one of a kind flipper.

The Barebones features all-stainless-steel framed handles that are skeletonized to maintain optimum balance and reduce weight. You will find that Barebones is a very neutral handling balisong. It can be flipped fast or slow and really can adapt to a variety of manipulation styles. Coupled with extended handle dimensions the weight is very well distributed.

Blade steel is the ever robust 154CM to provide a lifetime of cutting performance and reliability. Hardware is all stainless steel including the latch.

Whether you are just starting out as a flipper and new to balisongs or a long-time veteran of the sport, you will find the Barebones to be an optimum performer. Like all BRS products, it's battle-ready out of the box and has performance at the forefront of design!

**Modifications by Ian Pickarski (CMF Metalworks)**

Also, the handles have been rounded to more comfortable handling with a polished satin finish. Each box has been signed and dated, including the weight of the knife.

Ian's stellar work comes as no surprise yet again.
This barebones, and any of the barebones available here on Knife Center customized by CMF will blow you away. The work done on these is truly a step up from the budget balisong that BRS failed with. Ian turned hunks of steel into gorgeous flippers with very close attention to detail. The edge on these comes so sharp, shaving a phone book would be no issue. He completely threw out the barebones flipping style and tuned it to his very own. These knives are fantastically balanced flippers, perfect for any balisong manipulator. They are very very well worth the price. I hope to see these works of art clear out!

Awesome knife
In my opinion Ian Pickarski has the vision and talent that allows him to transform an unappealing but functional knife into a stunningly beautiful work of art. I had considered purchasing a bare bones for a while now but the stock blade shape and general unfinished details of the knife kept me from pulling the trigger. All that changed when I saw Ian’s work. He has gone in a variety of directions with his redesigns that will be sure to please many different tastes, I knew which one I wanted the instant I laid eyes on it and now it’s mine! If you buy one you will receive a knife that has value far beyond the price charged. Thanks to Knife Center for bringing Ian’s creations to share with everyone.
