BO02BO611: Böker Plus Striker, Black
Boker Plus
Due to high demand by government users, the Striker is now available with a black PVD coated blade. Ideal for covert operations, especially when it comes to avoid light reflection. Lucas Burnley's love for straight-line design is already impressively illustrated with the Kwaiken folder. The long ricasso of the striker, the narrow guard designed as a thumb rest and the "straightforward design" allow for its classification as a knife for tactical use right away. The Striker excites with the same minimalism as the Kwaiken folder, haptically and visually exuding a perfection that very few knives manage. Blade steel 440C, scales made of black Micarta. Includes Kydex sheath with modular belt holder.

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Weight
nice self defence blade
I like the knife and the sheath, not sure how the other purchasers mounted their sheaths but I prefer to mount on my right side with the blade tip up and the edge of the blade facing to the back so that when you draw the knife you pull down and it's already in a reverse grip. In that case I prefer the sheath to have a nice tight fit but I did have to modify the sheath so it could be carried exactly vertical.

Pros: None
Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Weight, Overall Quality
Poor quality for a Boker
The knife is too heavy and awkward to control. The sheath/belt clip are useless. I would hate to have to unsheath the knife in a hurry. If your life depended on a quick draw, forget about it. You would be dead. Maybe you could put it in a pack and use it around the campfire. Stay away from it.

Pros: None
Cons: Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Sheath/Scabbard
Too expensive and fair quality
The sheath is useless. It takes two hands to remove the knife and the screws and washers are still puzzling. This knife is useful only as a pack knife. It cannot be used as a belt carry knife and to stow it in a backpack is a waste.
