Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Lock Ease of Use, Weight, Handle Material
Cons: None
Typical Benchmade
This is your typical well made Benchmade knife and the 6th one I've owned. The knife feels very sturdy in your hand though I would like a little longer handle. I had to do a slight wrist flick while using the flipper opener to fully extend the blade which is not the case when using my Zero Tolerance knife of approximately the same size. The blade lock release mechanism is smooth as glass and easy to use.

Pros: Lock Type, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
So smooth and fast
This is a very smooth operating knife, blade has no play up/down or left/right and still butter smooth and has NO pivot binding what so ever. Operate lock and blade falls freely like its on ball bearings. Have not really used it yet, but should be as reliable as any of my benchmade knives. Blade is over a 1/8 thick, and is stout, I like benchmade's 154cm steel. This version has a contoured handle compared to the block handle of the tan version which feels much more comfortable for me. Blade on mine is perfectly centered, and razor sharp from factory (as all my benchmade's have come) large or bigger hands will want more real estate imho. It's a little shorter then a full size griptilian handle. Is a little heavy, but I carry fixed blades a lot so weight is nothing to me. Only negative for me is pocket clip and rough handle make it tough to take out of pocket, so bent clip slightly to relieve some pressure and that helped a lot. Well worth the purchase to me.

Great EDC blade
This has become my favorite knife due to it's fast and smooth deployment, great looks, and solid 154CM blade steel. You can use either the ambidextrous thumb studs or the ramped back of the blade to flip it open in an instant. This is my first AXIS knife, and I am very impressed by how easy it is to open and close with one hand. The black/blue scalloped G10 handles look good and give your hand a good, but not great grip on the knife, which is a minor gripe considering the outstanding finger choils and ramped gimping. It sits fairly deep in a pocket, and the distance between the top of the clip and the contact point on the handle is assurance that this knife won't just pop out of your pocket when you sit down. Also, the open frame design assures you won't have a buildup of gunk in your knife like a back lock design (which I am a fan of). Those of you looking for a sheath option are on your own, but most should be satisfied with just sliding it in a pocket and letting the clip do its job. Some might be put off by the relatively heavy 4.85 oz weight, but it doesn't bother me at all. I like a knife with some mass, and the thick skeletonized liners do just that. Speaking of thick, the 1/8" 154CM blade is plenty strong, and the 3" long blade has plenty of width for those who shun a slender blade like the SOG Twitch. This blade is also shaving sharp right out of the box (like all knives should be), so you won't be disappointed by having to put an edge on it yourself.
