Morakniv

The eternal favorite.

The Companion is one of Morakniv's most popular knives, because, as the name suggests, it is such a reliable companion. It works well both as an introductory knife for the younger generation as well as for more experienced outdoor enthusiasts. It can be used in a huge variety of situations by a range of users: bushcrafters, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts have all discovered the charm of this knife. The blade is made of Swedish stainless steel, which makes it easy to maintain and keeps the blade sharper for longer. It has a soft, friction grip handle made of TPE rubber, which makes the knife feel safe and steady to work with. The polymer knife sheath has a practical belt clip for attaching the knife to a rucksack or a belt – always close at hand.

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Materials, Handle Material, Weight, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Blade Material
Mora knife reliable and durable.
Bought this mora while thruhiking the AT trail. 3 years later it's my go to knife. It's excellent knife and at 4 oz for the length of blade is amazing. Plus I love the plastic sheath for durability and not having to worry about it getting wet. Also the rubber hand grip works well even in the rain. Con stainless steel is difficult to sharpen vs carbon.
