She's doing great
Update: Had the knife for about 6 months now, and she's doing great. I haven't had to sharpen it yet, but as I stated in my previous review, I'm not absurdly rough with it. Mainly everyday uses like cutting boxes, tape, plastic packaging, etc. I have taken it to some wood and really dense plastic and it did just fine, and I use it as a pry from time to time with success. G10 isn't as grippy as I thought it would be, but then again my hands sweat more than most, so I'll attribute it to that. I have the grey blade with the OD scales, and I plan on buying the all black one so I can put the green scales on it (black blade with OD g10 are badass). Still really pleased, and it's held up well. I still go back and forth from it and my m16-10kz; they're the same length, but the gerber is a bit fatter. Will continue to use

Great knife
I really like this knife, and it's help up to everything I've put it through so far. However, I'm not absurdly rough with it, mostly just everyday tasks, but I'm sure it would do fine if needed be. I also love it's shape and the g10 scales; It fits the hand quite nicely for being relatively compact. It's replaced my m16-10kz that I carried for years after it took some permanent damage, and I've been pretty pleased. My only complaints are that it seems to be a little weak at the joint of the blade and handle, and the pocket clip isn't reversible. The blade material isn't the greatest, but it's an inexpensive knife. I had an evo mid which is pretty much a direct rip off of the crkt, and that left kind of a sour taste in my mouth with Gerber, but I'm glad I gave this knife a try. We'll see how she holds up. I'm not really concerned about it being made in China. Most of them are anyway, and that's just a fact of life anymore.

Gerber makes their knives in CHINA
Damn you Gerber! China really! I'm done buying Gerber if you make your knives in China. If I had read the entire description prior to buying it would have been a NO DEAL!
