SWEDU2: U2
Fallkniven

This is the world's first folding knife with a blade of laminate powder steel, the market innovation Super Gold Powder Steel, SGPS. Powder steel is extremely costly and difficult to work with, and requires advanced technology in combination with experienced knifemakers. The advantage of this steel lies in its outstanding edge retention: there is simply nothing to compare today. The slim handle consists of strong composite material, which makes the knife light and pleasant to carry. With blade grooves on either side, the knife is completely symmetrical and is as easy to use for right-handers and left-handers. The traditional lockback function offers no unpleasant surprises, but locks the blade in its open position with a distinct reliable click.

A collectable
I purchased one of the limited edition constellation versions. This knife is clearly high quality, but a little small for most tasks. Anyways, considering the cost, I'm going to keep this somewhere safe and use my swiss army knife as an edc.

Too soft steel. Probably a bad batch
Having a S1 from Fallkniven I bought the U2 looking for a very light weight pocket knife with great edge retention as advertised. Well... after sharpening it many times and using it fishing and EDC for some time I really notice that the steel hardness is much lower than advertised I tested mine and it is 55 HRC. The edge rolls a lot so edge retention is poor. I would says its edge retention is close to a regular Victorinox folding knife or less. For this money, BUY A DELICA. You will not regret it

Multipurpose monster
Yesterday I finished building my log cabin with my trusty U2. I used the nifty folder to chop down the trees and debark them. I also used it to carve out furniture like tables, chairs, sofas and bed with it. It was still razor sharp so I used it to build a 46 inch plasma TV from scratch. Best knife I ever had.
