Steel Will Knives
The Cutjack flipper is Steel Will's take on the perfect multi-purpose everyday knife. It features a classic combination of OD green handle scales with a satin finished blade. The Cutjack's high flat grind ensures excellent cutting properties while the superior handle ergonomics and finger choil allow for a secure and comfortable grip in multiple positions. The blade deploys quickly and smoothly using the flipper tab and locks up snugly. Lightweight and compact, this knife may be carried unobtrusively using the stylish pocket clip which is reversible for right or left-hand tip-up carry.

D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel that exhibits excellent characteristics as a blade steel. This air-hardened steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability.

FRN is a lightweight material that is durable, resistant to water, and easy to clean. FRN handle scales may be molded with complex shapes and textures to improve ergonomics and slip resistance.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Weight, Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
My favorite EDC
The action, blade shape, ergos, and toughness are near perfect. I’ve used it to trim dried up blades off palm fronds, sliced thick bundles of dried up tomato plant stalks, cut down piles of cardboard, etc. all with ease on the same day, and the blade could still push cut paper. I own various knives, some with high end steels; this knife is by far my favorite to use and carry. At this price, it is an excellent value. I will be buying more just to add them to my non-carry collection.

Excellent Value
I was looking for a lightweight EDC that I could abuse and this knife fits that bill perfectly. My favorite details are... 1. The ergonomics are excellent. The curve at the back of the handle fits in the heel of my hand comfortably. The forward choil is useful and worth the cost in cutting edge length. It reminds me of my Spyderco Manix 2 LW except it fits in my pocket way better. It is thin in both directions, I forget I am carrying it. 2. The blade can take some abuse. I am a huge fan of how Steel Will has treated D2. It came razor sharp and after a month of use, it is still sharp. 3. Value. At this price point, I'm hard pressed to call out a better knife, especially a well done flipper. 4. The flipper action. This was really disappointing in the beginning. I had a lot of deployment failures. However, after about a week of use, it has become very reliable. It isn't as fast as my ball bearing flippers, but the washers allow the knife to get a lot dirtier and still flip reliably. Lastly, I waited a long time to buy the knife because I thought it was ugly. However, in person, the blade shape is beautiful. The handle quickly grew on me because of its usefulness. I was on the fence for a while but am glad I pulled the trigger.
