SP203TIP: C203TIP Mantra 2
Mantras are meant to be repeated. In the case of the Mantra 2, it features the exact same handle design as the Mantra, including stonewashed solid titanium scales, a sturdy Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) with a hardened stainless steel interface, and a lightweight, easy-to-clean open-backed construction style. Full-flat ground from premium CPM M4 tool steel, its narrow, utilitarian, drop point blade is almost reminiscent of a filet knife. Although it proudly sports a Trademark Round Hole, it is designed only for flipper-style opening. For convenience and ease of carry, the Mantra 2 includes a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers both left and right-side tip up carry.

Cons: None
Great EDC
My new favorite EDC pocket carry. It is light and flat and rides unnoticed. I'm a big fan of M4 Steel and Titanium. I really like having a steel insert for the locking bar to not allow any wear of the locking bar.

Fills a void in spyderco's product line
Great little blade. This is in the same category as the zt0450, benchmade 940, and lionsteel TRE. Excellent blade:handle ratio, sleek ergonomics, lightweight, and just plain fun. Overall it's the closest to the ZT0450, which is also a great knife. I prefer the m4 on the mantra 2, as well as the full flat grind and wire pocketclip. If I had my way, I'd change the handle finish from bead blasted to stonewashed, but overall this blade is a home run.

My new EDC + great knife design + highly recommended +
+This is my new EDC knife+ This is a great knife design! The titanium handle makes it lightweight and is comfortable to use. The blade shape is good for food prep, like my apple-a-day. The blade is thin and has the flat grind and a pointed tip which is a great cutting blade. This flipper design has a super "length of cutting blade" versus closed length. The flipper tab swings into locked position as a great finger guard - a good feature when the knife is wet to keep fingers away from the sharp blade. There is no choil on the blade = big wooo-hoo! This is a very important as I cut lots of paracord & string, and open a lot of plastic bags of landscape mulch. There is no choil for the cord to get caught in or for the plastic bag material to get hung up. Pure-T sharp blade from tip to finger guard. I removed the clip and carry mine in my pocket, with a small piece of leather shoe string through the lanyard hole. Sits very comfortable in the bottom of my Vertx cargo pants pocket. They say the best knife is the one you have when you need it. This one is that best knife.
