Description
RST7788: H-Series H6-Plus Frame Lock Folder, Black G10
RealSteel Knives

RealSteel Knives has introduced the H6 Plus model as an extension to the classic H6 model, which was developed at the request of fans and dealers. Here, the biggest difference is the cut. While the classic H6 model has a recurve blade with hollow ground, the H6 Plus model with no recurve blade is ground flat. In addition, the H6 Plus waived a finger recess; thereby the effective blade has become longer. The G10 shell and backspacer are precisely milled from one piece of G10 for strength. To reduce weight, RealSteel has skeletonized the stainless steel liner on this ergonomic handle. The H6 Plus weighs only 5 oz. in spite of size and strength and it is the perfect companion for every occasion.

Cons: None
Great knife-even better value........
This knife came to my door razor sharp out of the box, perfectly centered, and smooth as silk to flip open.I'm not gonna name names but I've been let down by the quality of knives that cost 4 times this much........not to over embellish, but this really is a good knife. All the good reviews are true.Plus, you don't feel hesitant about putting it through its paces because it doesn't cost a fortune....also, it is very light and not bulky or cumbersome. If you like it -BUY IT!!!!!

Impressed
The blade is made out of a good quality mid grade steel that is used in several of the more popular Kershaw knives(Leek, Skyline, Knockout and etc). The weight of the knife is substantial without being too much. The deployment and lock up is quick, smooth, and solid. I really like the blade shape. Good at just about any "normal" task it's used for. The tip of the blade isn't needle thin like some knives, but still comes to a very nice point. I've had too many knives have the end snap off or chip off at the tip, even when used for every day tasks. That is something you don't have to worry about with this one. I haven't tried to beat the knife to death, but did decide to chop on some decent sized tree limbs(3-4" diameter) to get a feel for the lock up and the toughness/hardness of the steel. No chipping or rolling which is always a good sign of a heat treat done well. The knife was still plenty sharp to cut paper without too much drag. The lock up has had minimal sticking with about 60-70% on the framelock. Lets the user feel a bit more confident in using it for harder tasks. All in all, for a medium/large folder, it's a great value for a solid knife. The materials used are are going to be some of the best quality for a $50-$60 dollar folder. Good choice for an EDC or on duty folder. Even though it's made in China, Boker has partnered up with ownership of the company. Last note is the customer service is pretty impressive. I broke a pocket clip by somehow getting it snagged on a door frame and was sent two new ones after sending in an email for no cost.

Another good value quality knife
This is essentially a larger version of the H6-S1, it is very smooth deploying blade with an authoritive thwack and solid lock up, this is the fourth RSK I have bought to look if they are consistent in quality from model to model, and pleased to say, yes, they have all been perfect but one, and it is a very minor wave in the flat grind near tip. It is rather slim for its blade size and comfortable in hand. They are no means on par with my upper end USA,Japan,Italian or German made knives, but I feel they are as good as USA made kershaw's as far as fit and finish, and the sandvik steel used is also on par with kershaw's, so heat treat seems well done, and all so far have felt the same on the stones when sharpening, though I have not sharpened this model yet. I have been using them as property knifes, so they get treated rough, cutting harder materials then cord, string, paper ect.ect. and I save the edge on my "harder" to sharpen upper end knives. They are going to ba a permanent brand in said duties. Will buy more for gifts, and young bucks getting into outdoor activities. Oh and by the way, they all came very sharp, would not say razor sharp, but could cut paper consistently.
