So you think you own a great fillet knife?
All right now folks! I live on the eastern part of long island where hiking, camping out, boating/fishing is a daily occurance. We buy meat and fish in bulk. I do a lot of filleting and de-boning and own over a dozzen high quality fillet knives. Some of these cost over $100.00 retail. The Svord 10" high carbon steel fillet knife is absolutly the best knife I own. The shape of the blade and handle keeps this keep this knife at a perfect fit and angle when cutting. There is no hand fatigue after 45 minutes of cutting. The blade steel is as sharp as can be and it touches up again with a few swipes of a ceramic rod. You should purchase the better sheath if you are carrying it outdoors. The yellow plastic sheath is o.k. in my gear bag but I wouln't wear it on my belt.
