SP41GPDBL5: C41GPDBL5 Native 5 Dark Blue G10
This expression of the Native 5 combines an ultra-high-performance CPM S110V blade with textured G10 handle scales in the signature dark blue color that characterizes Spyderco's elite S110V family of knives.

Since its original release in 1997, the Native has been a mainstay of the Spyderco product line and a flagship of Spyderco's American-made stable of knives. The design has evolved steadily over the years, reaching its current state-of-the-art in 2012 with the release of the Native 5. This addition to the Native lineage combines the Native 5's engineering refinements with dark blue G10 handles.

Proudly manufactured in Spyderco's factory in Golden, Colorado, the Native 5 features a spear point blade made from premium CPM-S110V stainless steel. Its full-flat grind, distal taper, textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp, and understated swedge collectively offer a distinctive appearance and outstanding edge geometry and point utility. The blade is supported by a highly refined back lock mechanism that takes this time-tested lock design and elevates it to a new standard of engineering and manufacturing excellence.

The G10 handle houses four sets of threaded inserts molded directly into the G10. These allow the improved hourglass clip to be positioned for left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. A generously sized lanyard hole also provides a handy attachment point for lanyards, fobs and safety lines.

A highly advanced evolution of a time-honored design, the Native 5 Lightweight is an incredibly capable, pocket-sized cutting tool and a shining example of Spyderco's commitment to making even our best products consistently better.

Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Love it!
Thanks to the knife center, I received my knife in 13 days to Australia. Was very impressed with the quality, the lock sounds and feels solid. This is my EDC. Very smooth to open. Slightly heavier than I thought but I like this because you can feel the quality in your hand. The blue/purple is more purple than I had expected and the S110V blade is hair shaving sharp from the box and I have had it just over two weeks and still is just as sharp as when I first got it. Was also surprised with the size, bigger than I was expecting, fits beautifully in the hand and the extra finger grip under the blade also feels comfortable. I love my Native 5. This knife will be very had to beat in my collection.

Great size pocket knife
I use this for my general use daily carry knife. It's a little longer and heavier than my Kershaw so I use the pocket clip most of the time unless I don't want to advertise that I have a knife.
