RST7785: H-Series H6 Special Edition II Satin Folder, Black
RealSteel Knives

The RealSteel H6 has been designed as a full-size outdoor folder and therefore is fit for almost any outdoor activity. The Special Edition II is a grooved handle version of Liang Gang's design that provides a much more solid grip than its predecessor. The H6 is characterized by special cutting performance and reliability. Another distinctive feature is the particularly easy maintenance. The reasons for this are the slotted-head screws and the very accurately machined components. The hollow ground drop point blade has a length of 3.74", made from the Swedish steel Sanvik 14C28N. The H6 handle and backspacer are CNC machined from G10 and textured for grip. The clip can be attached tip-up or tip-down and the thumb studs are removable if necessary. With the H6 model RealSteel has achieved a further leap forward. The high-quality of the folder becomes obvious when you look at the details which all knife enthusiasts appreciate. The H6, made by RealSteel, is in a class of its own.

Cons: Weight
Wicked blade
I've had this knife for about six months and it's great for its intended purpose. The fit and finish is excellent and the blade is well shaped with plenty of belly and it cuts beautifully. It opens with authority and the g10 handle works well in forward or reverse grip. I've found it to be a bit large for edc as it tends to draw comments on its size and its noticeably heavy in pocket. The clip works well enough and it sits deep in the pocket thus not advertising the size of the knife. If you're looking for a big bruiser of a knife that is well made and capable in an outdoor setting I haven't seen anything better at this price point.

Simply The Best
For under $50 this is the best knife I've ever owned, and I've owned hundreds. The knife is so versatile I carry it as an EDC, woods knife, self-defense and even gentlemen's folder. Very attractive milled G-10 handle scales, beautifully polished satin large blade with substantial belly and cutting edge nearly the whole length of the blade. Smooth, quick effortless deployment with just a flick of the thumb stud, no wrist action necessary. I have quite a few more expensive high end production knives that I love too. But this Real Steel H6 Special Edition II makes it into the rotation a couple times per week. And it's a no-brainer to carry along with a fixed blade while hiking or camping in the woods. Did I mention it cost me under $50, shipped. Quite a nice purchase and I'm proud of myself for doing so. THANK YOU, KnifeCenter and Real Steel.

Very Impressed
I tend to switch-out EDC knives each week, including my favorites from Zero Tolerance, Protech and Strider. Though my typical knives consist of higher-end "trendy" steels, I am a big fan of 14C28N steel, also found in Kerahaw knives, which has good edge retention, outstanding rust resistance and sharpens extraordinarily well. Picking-up this model from RealSteel was a shot in the dark, but at this price, I was willing to gamble. I received my knife today, and what a great find! The liner lock is solid, but easy to manipulate. The blade arrived sharp and nicely polished. Jimping is in an ideal location and is not overly aggressive. The attractively carved G10 handles fit flush with the stainless steel liners. Honestly, this knife compares in both feel and craftsmanship to my ZT knives. I dare say that it deploys a little smoother than my favorite EDC... the ZT 0620. Only time will tell if my RealSteel's quality holds-up, but initial impressions are high.
