Reate Knives

The Horizon-D marks the fourth iteration of this popular folder from Reate Knives. It is known for being a top tier everyday carry knife with flipping action on par with the best in the industry. The knife features a 3.75" blade made from top quality M390 super steel. M390 is a particle metallurgy stainless steel that offers great wear resistance with excellent corrosion resistance due to its high chromium and vanadium content. The handle is a wonderful ergonomic shape with a cutout in the finger choil making it much easier to access the lockbar on this folder. It's made from beautifully milled carbon fiber for the face scale and 6AL4V titanium with a blasted finish for the frame lock. The pocketclip and hardware have a Damascus pattern to the anodization which is an excellent touch and truly makes this knife look like a custom piece. It is a great example of how Reate Knives is taking the industry by storm; superb designs with excellent materials and affordable prices.

Flawless product
Flips and closes great; very short breaking in time needed; perfectly machined with nice details. I also own the non-CF Horizon and like the carbon fiber version more for its lower weight and the touch of the scales.

High quality knife with a custom made feel
Amazing knife for the money, The seashell pattern on the G10 and titanium handle are as good or better than on my Shirogorov Hati. The flip action is just as good as knives that I've spent hundreds of dollars more on. Perfect bade centering. If your shopping for a knife with this blade size and profile don't hesitate, just buy it.

Awsome Knife
When I finally got to handle this knife I was impressed. This level of quality from a production knife is not common by any means. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great knife made from premium components. It is truly a joy to carry this knife every day.
