ZT0220: Model 0220 Folding Knife
Zero Tolerance Knives

Danish knife and toolmaker Jens Anso realized a long-time dream when he joined the ZT team in 2015. One of the first results of their collaboration with Jens is the ZT0220 - a stylish folder with reach, excellent action and superb ergonomics.

The 0220 is a sleek, practical design with custom touches that will make it a must-have addition to any knife enthusiast's collection. The modified drop-point blade with slight recurve is made of premium CPM-S35VN stainless steel. This high-quality, powdered metallurgy steel is tough, wear resistant, and resists chipping. Additional niobium and vanadium carbides enable a razor-sharp edge and enhance edge retention. The 0220's attractive stonewashed blade finish looks good and hides use scratches.

The 0220's stonewashed blade is paired with bead-blasted titanium handles — a contrasting combination that makes the 0220 exceptionally handsome. Zero Tolerance's KVT ball-bearing system makes it fast and easy to open too; just pull back on the flipper and pow! The 0220 also features a secure titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert and a reversible, deep-carry clip.

To enhance the 0220's custom look and feel, Jens added a decorative pivot as well as a ZT logo medallion near the butt of the knife. Then, for an additional flash of color — as well as additional utility — the aluminum backspacer is anodized in eye-catching orange and has a built-in lanyard attachment.

Mid-tech quality at a production price
Can't say enough good things about this knife. Maybe a little heavy & too large for some but I prefer a knife this size. Fit & finish are great. Overall look is very pleasing as is the significant "thump" when opening it. About my only 'knocks' about it are the painted pocket clip (which I replaced with an MXG milled Titanium one anyway); the orange anodized back spacer / lanyard loop (which I replaced with a G10 one); & too much branding & product info on the non-show side of the blade. The replacement clip & back spacer were planned when I bought it so presented no problem for me but a painted clip & anodized aluminum part are prone to scratching. The priniting on the blade I can live with since the knife is so comfortable to use & handle.

A hard use knife masquerading as an art knife
Very clean modern lines, love it or hate it orange backspacer ( I totally love it )' beautiful organic blade shape and body, the design of this knife is the first thing that catches your eye. then you handle the knife and you notice the absolutely solid feel of the knife, the incredible ergonomics, the super thick blade stock that fires out with incredible smoothness and speed, that super satisfying locking sound and you realize that this is also a super high performance hard use knife, maybe as tough as anything that Zt has come out with if the pivot size, frame bulk and blade thickness is anything to go by, absolutely impressive knife.
