CKFMUSCLE: Tashi Bharucha Muscle Flipper
Custom Knife Factory
Custom Knife Factory might sound like an ambiguous name but it's definitely one worth remembering. Their knives are mid-tech by definition but the quality definitely borders on full custom. They have a CNC machine shop in China that does a lot of the leg work but all the hand fit and finishing are done in house in their Moscow shop. They use top of the line materials made in the USA and designs from some of the most talented knife designers in Russia.

The Muscle is the much-anticipated collaboration with Tashi Bharucha that's as large as it is beautiful. In typical Tashi-style this pairs a wide blade with an ergonomic, slender handle for a knife that combines both great looks and tactical functionality. It has superior, lightning fast flipping action, excellent fit and finish, and a cool look you don't come across every day. It's a large yet extremely appealing design that carries very well and everything about it screams use me!

The 3.9" flat ground drop point blade is made from M390 stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish. The handle is made from titanium with milling to improve both aesthetics and grip. The pocket clip, in addition to the overall look, is what we really like about this design. It's a milled titanium clip that functions like a spring clip being very easy to get this knife in and out of the pocket, so it's the best of both worlds. The Muscle features a two-row ceramic bearing pivot system, compact yet very functional flipper tab, and the handle is comfortable yet large enough for any sized mitts. It's definitely tactical in nature but the ultra-fast action makes this a stylish EDC knife for those preferring larger knives. It's another awesome limited production, individually numbered piece from Custom Knife Factory and Tashi. We look forward to more collaborations between the two coming in the future.

CKF has brung it
Very happy with this piece. The full Ti handles with multiple patterns makes this knife very customizable for anyone wanting to do some anodizing. Or just leave it as is and it's still a boss of a knife. Super fast flippage on this big ole M390 blade. The handle contours are perfect as to not get that "I got a huge knife in my pocket feeling". Love it!

Just Fantastic, a lot for the money
Great knife. Well done. I have a custom Tashi Machine, similar profile. Recognizably Bharucha. CKF appears to be for real like REATE. Big 3.9", 3/16 thick blade. Worthy of its name, this knife is big & burly. I've been playing with direware and strider XL, and XL STubby. Same basic weight, a little bit longer. Large hollows on inside of handle to cut some weight. Full backstrap. Flips well with a loud, low pitched thwack! Kind of hard to hold it without pushing on lockbar which will massively increase detente strength. I've bee carrying it since it arrived, the lock bar hasn't moved across the blade tang, not one bit. Impressive. Big, heavy, perfect function, obvious Tashi design, this is a great rendition of a $2000+ knife. I can afford to use it. Fits hand well, gorgeous hand rubbed blade. The handle patterning is not aggressive except vertical lines near pocket clip. Just fantastic.

Rock Solid
First CKF and I was not disappointed. This is one of the best designed knives I've held. Although it's heavy, the handle/blade weight distribution is perfect. Workmanship is excellent, and even the small details seem to have been well thought out. Super flipping action! 500 ducks aint chump change, but in comparison to similar pieces it is a decent value. Really love M390.
