In 1941, Pennsylvania artist and engineer Frederick Ehrsam of the Victor Tool Company designed the Woodman’s Pal, a tool that has truly lived up to its name ever since. This unusual machete can cut through branches up to one and a half inches in diameter in a single stroke, and the sickle hook makes quick work of briars, vines, and even low-lying weeds.
