The Devil's Claw is the proper name for this knife
This knife is razor sharp, light and nasty. It should be called the “Devil’s Claw” as that is a proper name for this knife. I was using its twin as my daily knife, the Tanto but this knife is lighter and has a smaller footprint. You could carve up a mugger or assailant like a Christmas turkey with this knife. Its sharp point lets you select nerve points to attack or stab through the eye or slash across the eyes easily. It’s a very dangerous weapons use it in self defense against a life and death threat only…… Excellent quality and excellent steel and tempering.....

Eye Catcher
I use this product as very last resort backup weapon while on duty. I say very last because this, as the last review writer stated, isn't something that you would want to put to use for its intended purpose unless all else has completely failed. This knife will destroy an assailant, especially in the hands of an individual trained in the use of an edged weapons; however, it is ideal for the untrained individual as well. It really is a beautiful and well-designed knife. I do like the sheath, but would very much prefer a kydex with perhaps a clip allowing inside the pocket/waistband carry like a folding tactical. AUS-8 is sufficient for the intended purpose of this weapon, as for how much I paid for it, no. The micarta handle is beautiful and, to be honest, to me, the beauty is worth the lack of grip. The finish gleams beautifully. It'll definitely catch the assailant's eye in too different ways :) This is not a utility knife the biggest critics of this product will be those that intend to use it as such; especially considering that the AUS-8 will not hold up to daily use. RAZOR sharp out of the box. Keep it that way for if you need it. Use your leatherman for cutting random stuff, not this.

Al-mar bu2
Knife appears well made. Sheath on the other hand is worthless. Cheap leather. The knife itself sits to deep in the sheath for quick access. This item would not suit anyone with a large hand.
