Not Randall, but ...
For poor-folk like me who have lusted after a Randall Combat Companion but couldn't raise the shekels, there is (relatively) good news! These knives are near-perfect clones of the Combat Companion but are not entirely hand forged and are priced accordingly. They are made from A-2 tool steel and will take a razor sharp edge and hold it through a great deal of abusive use ... which is the norm for a blade of this type that is actually used as intended. On the other hsnd, if you plan on nothing more than displaying it as a back-up prop for your sea stories this last won't matter and you might want to dull it a little so you don't hurt anyone while playing with it!I A serious knife, built for a serious purpose. While it can function as hunting/camping knife there are others more suited to those tasks. However, if you need a blade that can be used in a fight if needed, and you don't care too much about your salami slices being a tad ragged, this may just be the knife you've been trying to find. P.S. I haven't need to use my for CQC, and hope I never have to do that kind of job again, but this blade is up to the task. P.P.S. The false edge is dull, actually flat, from the factory, but some time with a belt sander - or a LOT of time with a set of stones - will cure that!
