Ultra Thin and Flimsy
You'd thing benchmade would be able to make a good nice bottle opener based on their other products but nope, this is as thin as a coin and you can easily feel a lot of strain even on the first few regular bottles I've opened.

Bad Ass Opener
I use my ,Benchmade opener for opening bottles of fine brew only. By fine brew I mean beers brewed here in California! This the best opener I have and I have more than a few. Yes, It's thin but the caps don't mar the opener. It's like they used hardened steel, The caps don't even scratch the surface. Awesome! Get yourself a Benchmade bottle opener! For the fella that complained it's too thin I have this to say " Why don't you buy the Benchmade battle axe for opening your brews" Luigi

Benchmade fan...but this wasn't even sharp
Kidding aside, I'm a Benchmade fan but occasionally they have their dogs and this is one. This bottle opener is thin steel and feels cheap. I don't see it holding up to the guys coming over and ripping the tops off a few home brews. I should have paid attention to the specs -- which incidentally Knifecenter does a great job of calling out. The shape is good and cut out lettering is nice but this is flexy thin! While it functions ok, it doesn't elicit any lingering appeal. Feels like what you'd get for free at a trade show table --- so for $10 this is overpriced and going back.
