I don't care if the handle is slippery

Fare warning: If you use this knife while your hands are wet, you might lose a finger. I honestly love this knife, it wasn't all that expensive and after playing with it for a while it was pretty easy to figure out. I joke about losing a finger cause the damn thing is so sharp and the handle is so slippery. I use this knife for edc: opening boxes, cuting tape or plastic, etc. Again it is a great value, but be careful and conscious of liquid on your hands! Also there is no "side to side action" while the blade is open, it's tight like a drum.

Love this knife and knifecenter.com!!

I agree that if my hands were wet for any reason this knife would shoot right out of them and land god knows where. That being said, I am used to cheep knives and having the barrage in my hands is a big upgrade. I scrolled through about 10,000 knives before I narrowed it down to SOG flash II, or the Benchmade barrage. I held a flash II in my hands at Basspro, and I have to say that it is not as good as the barrage. I got my barrage today to my surprise. There is no side to side with the blade, lock works awesome, blade shoots out in a flash. On the flash II there was quite a bit of side to side action on the blade, it didn't stay open even with the lock on, and the blade weighed more than the handle. Glad I chose the Benchmade! And I am very glad that I chose knifecenter.com because they shipped this baby to me in a flash for next to nothing. I ordered it late Wed night, and it came Monday afternoon for $3 shipping!! Thank you knifecenter!!!

New Benchmade folder

I am currently using this knife for everyday carry. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. The assisted opening is very positive. The knife is beautifully finished. I own dozens of knives, but this is truly one of my favorites.

I like the knife, real heavy duty

I like the knife, real heavy duty, the only problem is the grip is too smooth which makes it hard to hold onto. I've come close to dropping it on my foot twice. A rougher texture would be nice.
