Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Great for boaters
Last year a large sailboat capsized in the Great Lakes and two occupants had safety tethers that they could not undo, release, or cut with a knife that they had. They both drowned. So I decided to look for a knife with safety features that I can operate with one hand in case I have to hold on to objects whilst cutting myself or others free. This knife can be opened with one hand and the hook can cut seat-belts, heavy rope etc. It has several safety features and a great grip even when wet and soapy. One version has a point on the blade but this version seems safer. It is expensive relative to many other knives- but IMO - well worth it.
