Delica contender

I actually read the other reviews and unlike them I have a perfectly loose knife and am able to flick it and open it one handed easily i do not see where it was a problem... these are made by Fox knives usa for Boker and the thing is a slicer for sure, it cuts so smoothly and effortlessly once I put my polished edge on it but it came razor sharp just with minor serrations from the rough grit sharpening belt which was very easily stopped away with reg green compound... Now I am not 100% sure they're actually cracks or maybe just scratches on my polished edge but it almost looks like there are two small cracks on the very edge apex where it was sharpened near the tip, i have used the knife and not found the steel to be weak or chippy at all so im hoping that they were just scratches... Overall I do like it and would buy again for sure...

It can be better

If you want to buy this knife to flicking them, I would not recommend this knife. The opening mechanism is very stiff. On the other hand, the locking is very solid. Well, there is a remedy to make it flick easier. Since I am a flicker guy, I sanded down the internal locking mechanism (it functions as a spring I guess). Doing this lightens the opening mechanism. Another con is the knife does not have a choil making it difficult for sharpening. I added a choil to my knife so now it is perfect.

first Boker, maybe only Boker

The knife looks fine. Fits my hand fine. Sharpness was fine. Opening / closing it was NOT fine. This is in no way a one handed knife. Takes both hands, and a good grip. Opened and closed while watching TV for an hour. Did not loosen up. Tried to take it apart and work on it, but I dont have torq tools small enough. Now I have to go to store to by tools to fix a knife I shouldnt have had to fix in the first place. I purchased 4 knives at once, 3 made in China and one in the USA. Guess which one iam upset about!

Disappointed

I read the reviews but just couldn't resist what I thought was a good deal. It really does have a tight action, to the point where it takes a very concentrated effort to open one-handed. I oiled it over night but no relief. It may loosen up, I don't know. That was an issue but on the first day I wore it I noticed the pocket clip (which I initially liked) had opened up substantially 1/8 inch. Wow, the whole thing is becoming too much like a project. Into the drawer it goes. Do yourself a favor, get a Rat 1 insteadand you'll be glad you did.
