Super Blade
I use this knife for EDC on the weekends. As I spend time in the woods. The handle length is great fits your hand, weight is just right. I own the longer version also. One just like this with a 4" blade same style would be just right!

Boxer Esculta
Well balanced large knife for heavy duty use. Beautifully styled with stag handles large enough for my big hands. Should be just the trick for upcoming bear hunt.

A beauty but not too practical.
I've been looking for a suitable bowie type fixed blade (for display purposes mostly) for some time. When I saw this it had instant appeal. The style was right. As for a practical working tool, however, it doesn't quite make it. The stag handle scales, while impressive to look at are not very practical. Given the heft of the blade, the rough stag would chew up your hand if you engaged in any heavy tasks - unless you wore heavy gloves. The 440C blade (N695 is equivalent) came with a relatively sharp edge but not useful bevel angle, and the point was too blunt to penetrate much of anything. I spent most of an afternoon working to correct that. On the other hand, I wasn't looking for a working knife, just something to have and admire. So, if appearance is the goal, as it was in my case, this is a fine looking, quality made knife that you may find a pleasure to own. The sheath is quite nicely nicely made as well.
