Pros: Durability, Ease of Use, Effectiveness, Overall Quality
Really good quality, really bad value.
I was really excited to receive this stone, as it was to be my first 8000 grit stone (which is supposedly 3 microns). I was extremely disappoint to find that the edge it put on your knife was equal to that of a 2000 grit stone which if had bought one of it would have cost me $30 instead of $100. There are saw marks where the stone was cut but that doesn't bother me cause I use it for bushcraft, camp, and survival knives. I really enjoy how you only need to coat the stone in water to sharpen it instead of soaking it for ages like some other stones. I would definitely recommend against buying this stone unless you are prepared to spend $100 on a 2000 grit stone.
