Boker Stag Stockman Pocket Knife
Beautiful traditional slip joint pocket knife. I find myself pulling it out of the pocket just to admire it. Everything from its razor-sharp blades, tactile stag handles, decent weight, and smooth opening/closing mechanism exudes quality. I haven't owned it long, but so far it's opened parcels, whittled some poplar, sliced a tomato, dispatched the hard clear plastic of a battery packet, and trimmed a 5/16" rubber fuel line (using the short flat blade) with remarkable ease. It reminds me of the pocket knives of my childhood (1960s), but feels considerably more solid than what I recall of those. I like it so much, I might get another to leave in the glove compartment, and another for my daughter's sixteenth.
