1st off the rating 5 goes to knifecenter and staff who Always make the customer feel happy with their excellent customer service. They are the retailers so they have nothing to do with the quality control however as far as the company I give them 2. I am currently exchanging my item because I have a lot of these I have honestly the handle screws are so dugged in one handle screw looked like it was half strippedand that even if you used the right tool t6 you will probably strip it and that causes pressure on the zen pinswhich causes the buyer to loosen the above torx screws more than they have to, And by the handle screws being too tight there's how your Blade rub forms and that's how the blade play is not that great so did a review on the blue one that I got which was good and this is all you have to say simply write below. FYI: They cannot turn screws for you or anything like that because it voids the warranty so they cannot do that , however they can look at the handle screws ro make sure there not stripped. The difference was I was asking them to test a screws however the comment below is I think excellent comment. " please make sure botht tang pins and torxue screws are even. Please make sure that the handles are not stuck to the blade. And the most important one which I should've worded better like the blue one please check the handle screws to see which ones have different lengths. For example some are higher than others so please send me that one, and if you dont have one like that just send me the best one you think" And don't worry about the lengths because it's not going to be loose where it a fall out during shipping. By the way the knife was not stuck to the blade but it was very tight where and makes it UNCOMFORTABLE TO FLIP. The over all quality on the negative part goes to the manufacture. Not knife center Thank you knife center.

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None

Very nice Bali

First Bali I've had since the early '80s. These Balis were so demonized by Hollyweird that any decent Bali was either way too expensive or junk. This knife is very nice, beautifully machined parts, hinges are tight (no slop) but flips smooth as butter. Keep it lubed (gun oil) and it should last forever. I like the grip of the scales. I haven't flipped a bali in over 30 years and I've been flipping for hours now and haven't dropped it yet. I have G10 scales on many of my knives and none broke or deteriorated. I used to be a knife snob and would try to shun G10 in favor of hardwood, bamboo, micarta, carbon fiber or some other snobby material. I warmed up to G10 in the Army because of it's durability. The blade is a nice shape, drop point flat ground (my preference) and very sharp out of the box. The steel is 154cm, a good American made and I understand the whole knife is American made. What's not to like?
