Pros: Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Pocket Clip, None
Cons: Handle Material, Ease of Opening
As a usual carrier of a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and a Para 3, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this new iteration of the buck classic. Having carried it for the last couple of weeks, I’d call it excellent for the price. Although it’s a bit hard to open one handed, especially at first, it gets a bit easier with time. Great steel, and as usual, great heat treat from Buck. It’s quite the step up in steel quality from the 420HC used in the classic Buck 110 since the early 90s, although even the classic is great because of a great heat treat. Digression aside, I highly recommend this knife as a lightweight, sharp, and sturdy (even with the absence of metal liners) edc. Great American made product.
