Perfect pocket carry. So light but rock solid and well made. No cheap feel. Opens easily and strong side clip. Sharp. You actually need to check that it's there.

Great EDC
As a usual carrier of a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and a Para 3, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this new iteration of the buck classic. Having carried it for the last couple of weeks, I’d call it excellent for the price. Although it’s a bit hard to open one handed, especially at first, it gets a bit easier with time. Great steel, and as usual, great heat treat from Buck. It’s quite the step up in steel quality from the 420HC used in the classic Buck 110 since the early 90s, although even the classic is great because of a great heat treat. Digression aside, I highly recommend this knife as a lightweight, sharp, and sturdy (even with the absence of metal liners) edc. Great American made product.

A very good knife, but hard to open.
This would be a 5-star for me if it were easier to open. Everything else about it is great. Even the pocket clip, which some people don't like, I think is just fine. But it's difficult to grasp the knife with one hand and still have enough leverage against the thumb stud to get the knife open. If ease of one-hand opening is important to you, you might want to choose a different Buck. But that aside, I have no complaint at all about the quality of the knife I received. I'd give it a 4.5 instead of 4 if that were possible.
