Pros: Finish, Overall Quality, Blade Material, Materials, None
Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard
Great sword for the money. I’ll probably never bash it with another sword but I like that it’s robust enough that I could. Believe the pommel is threaded and peened so it ain’t going nowhere. Really like the size and balance. Looks stunning. Being as it’s suitable blade metal, I would like to sharpen it at some point but don’t think that’s feasible, which leads me to my first complaint. The fuller is a little off center on one side. Any edge would end up touching the fuller and that has me concerned. Some other nitpicks are that the scabbard is wrapped once and glued with an obvious crease going down it, a stitched seam would be so much more appealing, and the grip feels rather cheap. Both of these things can be remedied with a little hand work after a quick trip to a crafts/materials store. Overall I’m very satisfied with my $200 sword shaped crowbar. Just with the fuller was even.
