Very Impressed
I just received this knife so no field report, but the quality is evident right out of the box. This is my first Hogue knife and it is extremely well executed. The blade locks up super solid and the mechanism is very smooth. I can't stop flipping it. I was attracted to the unique blade design (done by a Recon Marine-OORAH!) and it is beefy. the pocket clip is perfectly placed for deep pocket carry, and the scales are nice and grippy. The feel in the hand is comfortable and substantial. The button lock makes one handed closing very fast and safe. The lock feature is a plus. I have many Benchmade and Spyderco folders and this Hogue is right there in quality and design. I will be rotating now to EDC with the Hogue, the Barrage, and the Para Military 3.

Incredible knife
I've been using this as my EDC for a couple weeks, and thoroughly enjoy the in hand feel, as well as the satisfying detent when opening the blade. Modified Wharncliffe gives a great, large cutting belly for a few of the tasks I've used it for, and the agressive tip also helps with cutting open boxes or packaging (though a little overkill for those purposes!) Blade came razor sharp with handle and blade surface unblemished. Nearly want to buy the spearpoint too!

Great knife for EDC
I like the modified wharncliffe blade design. It allows very stable slicing of objects on a surface. The blade is fast opening and locks in the open position with a “snap.” It is easy to open and close with one hand. There is also a manual safety which prevents the blade from closing even when the close button is pushed. The knife is light and great for EDC.
