Pros: Overall Quality, Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Ease of Opening, None
Cons: Blade Material, Handle Feel
Sharp, Tough, and Cheap
I've owned my Manifold for about 6 weeks now, It's a solidly built knife, cheap, durable, and it came from the clam pack shaving sharp. It's a good blade overall, I just wish it had better steel. It dulled super fast, about 25 cuts through cardboard boxes rendered this nothing but a pointy piece of metal with a nice assist. But the good about the 3CR steel is I was able to touch it up and get it to my 20 degree mirror polished edge on my smith's stones in about 2 minutes. There is absolutely no blade play with this thing, and the assist kicks out the blade with authority. The bad: Steel Choice (depending on if you're a pessimist or optimist.) handle scale came loose (5 second loctite fix) The handle feels a little rough around the edges (at least mine did) leading to some hot spots on it. I noticed my handle scales started to come loose in about 20 minutes, just pull the screws on the non locking side out, put some blue loctite on them and you're good to go. The Good: Steel choice (again, pending optimism or pessimism) Blackwash finish Assist works like a charm Frame lock is sturdy and beefy Price (for 20 bucks you can't do any better) no blade play It's a 5 star knife to me.
