Shun KAI Pure knife set
The base is a little large. We use the knives for everything.... Bread, veggies, you name it. We love them.

Great knives for the price
These knives are fantastic, they work extremely well, and are so easy to use. There may be better knife sets out there, but I am sure they are a lot more expensive. For the price these knives are a great buy.

Great Set, Great Price
One site had the set for about $50 more than Knife Center. The knives are so sharp, I actually cut my finger trying to get one out of the packaging. They slice everything easily, wash easily and are a colorful addition to my kitchen. Since I only have them about 2 weeks, I can't comment on durability.
