I got this one of the many times it was offered as a, "ship with orders over...," deal. At first i just let it sit on the self near my Leek. However my manager at work decided nobody really needs knives. We can break down the hundreds of cardboard boxes we see everyday with dangerously dull box cutter's with cheap plastic handles. I wasn't thrilled with the idea so i sharpened this up a bit and now i can even cut a box down with it. The steel probably wouldn't hold anything near razor sharp (not that i have tried), but its tough and i would use it to tear down the boxes now, even if i were allowed an edc blade again. I might need to make a tiny sheath though, as with the edge even lightly sharpened it wants to poke through my pocket lining.
Nice tumble finish to round off the corners, does the job of opening a bottle, but bites in the hand a little, would recommend using the pocket ring as leverage to open it, overall pretty good for the price!
Used on screw and it worked OK, Used on Philips head screw and it worked OK, Opened a bottle with it and it worked OK. It's a key chain gadget. Not really a tool. I gave it a 3 because it did 3 things.......Just OK.
The K-Tool is nice for its price (bought while on sale for 2-ish USD) but does not offer a lot of options. It's still a nice addition to your keychain, offering flat-head and phillips screwdrivers (kinda, not a full tip) and a bottle opener.
I got this only because it came as a set with a knife and the spoon- fork tool. It would be so much more useful if instead of a bottle opener it had a can opener. Do these people who design this shut think that all we do is drink craft beer ( because most everything else has a screw top now)? Really I might try to sharpen one of the edges and see if this thing could be useful at all. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because at least it ain't plastic.
