Solid EDC multi-tool
I replaced an old swiss army multi-tool with the leatherman squirt PS4 recently. The swiss was a great knife, but all the tools were pretty worn out. The leatherman is a great tool, and has a few more options than my swiss, which I really like. I probably get the most use out of the screw drivers and the bottle opener. The screw drivers work great for simple household fixes, and I find myself using them all the time. The scissors are good for their small size. I haven't gotten much use out of the files. Honestly, I prefer the nail file on my swiss army over the metal/wood files of the leatherman because I haven't found many instances when I would could use them. The pliers seem great, I just haven't really needed them yet, but I know I'll be glad when I do need them. I really like the spring action they have. I don't really like the knife blade on this tool. One edge is completely flat, so its like one side of a scissor, and it isn't super sharp out of the box. I also don't know if I want to mess around trying to sharpen it because its like a scissor blade and not a knife blade. It can be useful if you've already got the tool out and you need to open a package or cut some string or something, but that's really all this blade can handle. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because I'd highly recommend against using this tool as an EDC knife. I carry this strictly for the tools, and I carry a separate knife as my EDC blade.
