Cons: Handle Material
Good multi-tool well built.
Hello all First off I am an aircraft mechanic so having a multi tool goes long way. Now for the tool its well built nice design the one hand opening feature is great and when any of the tools are open it locks in place real tight. The flick action to open the pliers is very easy sometimes too easy it slides open by itself at times but no big deal. The grip of the pliers is strong as for the cutter no problems what so ever, cuts thru safety wire with ease as for electric wire. Cons, the oht has feature to show what tool you want to use and it’s kind of thin so when you squeeze the tool it kind of bends and when you close the tool it gets in the way no big deal just small stuff. That’s the only con I have. Pros, just about anything with the oht is good, it’s built solid, nice design, all the tools are strong and sturdy. I do recommend this tool it works great.

Better than many but maybe not the best.
This is nice hefty multitool with many good features. The best feature of all that sets it apart from all others I know of if the spring action pliers and wire cutter. That has always been my main complaint with others. Love that! That said, the Gerber Gerber FliK Black Stainless One-Handed Opening Multi-Plier #GB01638 is also one handed and of equal heft. It does not have the spring action but the tools open a little easier because of a thumb nub rather than Leatherman's little slot. The tools are also larger on the Gerber, more substantial. Oh and the weatherman does have a lock to prevent the pliers from coming out. One more thing. I wish the OHT had the wire stripping and crimping fester like the MUT version does. The weatherman sheath is a little cheap but does the job, just not really high end.
