Pros: Finish, Handle Material, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Materials, Sheath/Scabbard
Love the knife, forget the sheath!
Since it's a combat knife, I can't yet comment on it's ultimate use (yet). But it's a great addition to my collection. Comfortable and ergonomic handle, razor-sharp right out of the box. Put it through my own test course: excellent at slashing and stabbing, proved absolutely lethal to a number of melons, cans and one very tasty London broil. I particularly like the sharpened clip point, saved me and my Ken Onion sharpener from the task. The knife materials are very high quality - the sheath, however, is another matter. It is the sorriest excuse for a Cordura sheath that I have encountered. It is flimsy and thin, and includes some cheap shoelaces as tie-downs. Not what I would expect from OKC. Luckily, some months ago, I obtained a MOLLE equipped hard-shell USMC bayonet sheath, hoping to put it to good use some day, which happens to be today. Ironically, the sheath was made by OKC. Overall, I'd recommend this knife very highly. Had it not been for the sheath, I would've given it five stars. I know OKC can do better, even if it costs a few bucks more. I'd pay it!
