Pros: Finish, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Blade Material, None
Cons: Weight, Sheath/Scabbard
Solid Knife
The only reason I'm giving the knife a 4 is the blade design. It's long blade is very strong and sharp. Not a great survival knife. What it is,an overbuilt fighter. And I prefer a fighting knife to be a little lighter. I compare the blade shape to a cold steel oss or osi. Same size, but much lighter and sharper. Also the CS has a full flat grind. On the other hand the sp6 could be a survival knife for light chopping, camp / food prep stuff. It's not bad at anything, and not great at anything except it will last forever!

Tough Blade
53-59 HRC is stated - that's a big range, I know, but I believe mine is towards the upper range because of how hard it is to sharpen. It's not dull out of the box, but it won't rip paper either. As much time as I spent with sharpening it using Spyderco's Triangle, it still wouldn't rip paper. I have some other knives like that too. I think it has to do with the type/grain of the steel and hardness and maybe that is best for edge retention. The shine I got on the edge is magnificent, but it ends up feeling more towards "axe sharp". The only other rip I can give it is the handle. Where the curled edges are at the top and bottom, they will bend and I wonder at what point would they simply break off if mishandled. Kraton feels like a hard rubber. This is a hard-use knife for sure. The nylon sheath layout makes it hard to get the knife in and out; it makes it a two-handed affair because of the retention snap-strap getting in the way of the knife handle. It may sound like I'm picking this thing apart, but I wouldn't return it for double my money back. It really is a physically beautiful knife with how they ground the blade. Anything you "fight" with it is going to lose.

Perfect size, handle is decent
Blade came pretty dull so a bit disappointed there but the blade quality makes up for it. Handle feels a bit cheap and lack luster for a combat knife.
