Beast!
Love this beast! I can use it as a hammer, machete, hatchet, shovel, it even does my dishes. Saw back is better than I thought it would be (still not great) but works well for notching and works really well for scrapping bark for tinder. I use this paired with a folding saw for all my wood processing needs. Where I live sometimes you gotta hack your way through brush to get dry wood so having one tool that can get me to the wood, get the wood into carry size pieces and split the wood is a beautiful thing. Not a pretty one but damn it works hard! Also I dig the sheath, haters gunna hate...

Excellent choice for various situations .
1 of those knives that goes well camping , farming or fighting . Heavy use is not a problem for this blade and handle material . Good addition to any bug-out bag or soldiers kit . All in all 1 excellent buy .

Awesome tool. Crappy nylon sheath.
I have owned a couple of the SP8s over the years. I have given many away as presents. Amazing tool for camping and yardwork. They used to come with a heavy duty sheath to match the tool. The sheaths they come in now...are garbage. Is Ontario cutting costs by throwing a great knife in a sloppy sheath? Go back to a sturdy sheath and get 5 star ratings.
