Great quality for a small price!!!
Fast shipment to Belgium...7 days...received the package simply wrapped in paper...customs...??? Also costed the shipment more than the knife, not 15.99$ but 27.41$! Anyhow still a bargain for 55$, put a razoredge on it with my Lansky and allready went on a extended hike with it and didnt disapoint, keeps a verry good edge and verry comfortable in the hand, and i have a size 12 glove....so!!!

Outstanding Quality
The purchase is for hunting purposes. I am hunting 52 years and know a bit about cutlery. The 183UH is perfectly fitted. Balance is superb. Sharp from the factory. I wanted the synthetic grip handle scales, because in my opinion, they work better when wet with blood. I may, rough the scales a bit with 80 grit sandpaper just to increase the grip. I did the same when I worked in a slaughterhouse. The sheath is leather and very well made. I gave the sheath a few applications of mink oil and a heat gun session to gently warm the leather. The color is vastly improved in my opinion, to an oil tanned color. I rate the 183UH, 5-stars of a 5-star rating, and recommend the knife as a prudent purchase.

Exactly what I hoped
I wanted a beater knife to take to work to preserve my nice steel folder. It's great for that, and I really like the sheath. Surprisingly, I also really like it for kitchen duties. Index finger on the spine, middle behind the guard, or I pinch it with thumb and middle, ring behind the guard. Keeps a decent edge when I'm not abusing it. Filed in a notch on the back, works great for utility, then used a dremel for a ricasso. Over did it a bit, so now it's a small choil. I wear medium gloves, so the handle is longer than needed. I rounded it out with sandpaper, and created slight finger contrours. Handle heavy, which is fine. Does just fine for whittling, and held up through some unnecessary light battoning. All in all, a GREAT deal, and a darn tootin good knife. I'll likely buy a new one long before I need to. (Sharpen the blade away.)
