Great Buy
I love this knife. Solidly build and heavy enough to take what you dish out. I did some batoning with this and it sliced right through the wood. It does have some heft to it so you know it's there, but it isn't going to break. One to rely on.

Great for camping
I bought the knife because it seemed to compare nicely to a kukri. It's compact but a great chopper that is at home taking off limbs, battoning, and limbing up wood for a fire. It also offers enough control for making feather sticks. But what I like the most is how little room it takes up in my pack for what you get in return. This is a great backpacking knife if you want a chopping and slicing tool but not the weight. The design and the ergonomics are very well done. I do need to resharpen it as I have rolled and knicked the edge a little. But the steel is good and I'm happy with it. My big takeaway is that when I want to go camping, I keep reaching for this little monster.

Fantastic blade
Outstanding knife. Super impressed with the quality titanium coating. The grip is really comfy in my hands and the balance is spot on. Can't wait to try this out in the bush next week. For those interested in purchasing the SCHF28, those with larger hands will love the knife and grip but might be a bit much for those without.

Mixed feeling about this one since for the life of me not sure what the purpose of this blade is for big blade looks cool and feels great in your hand. Comes with decent sheath. First off my first one was defective the material was way to thin by the edge and bent. So I finally had a schrade failure, but got to see what kind of company schrade is and they are awesome best buy ever. Simply contacted them and got another one shipped to me where I can see the blade thickness difference in the blade GREAT customer service. First one was super sharp second thicker not as sharp, but I can fix that. Been beating on the first one since I reshaped and sharpened it chopping away with this like a beast since I have a spare now retains edge despite the abuse and feels good in your hand mainly used at home processing wood, but might make a good camp knife.
