Working around in the yard, garden, in the garage--this knife is perfect. Quick opening gives you quick access to the blade.

Very great knife. Feels very solid. The lock mechanism works great and the release is also really good. The handle feels really good and the design looks awesome. It comes already pretty sharp which is good. The only problem is the belt clip is very stiff but it could probably be loosened by using it multiple times.

This knife is outstanding
I have had my black ops knife for two years now, and I love even more than when I got it. The handle looks really cool, the grip in your hand feels great. The 4034.stainless steel blade is the perfect hardness, as it is hard enough to keep a sharp edge, yet soft enough to easily sharpen it to a razor sharp edge. I am a boater and the serrated edge half blade cuts through nylon boat lines much faster than any smooth edge blade. The 3.3 inch blade is a perfect size for easy carry. The best part for me is that with the flipper, I can deploy the blade faster than you can deploy an automatic blade. It closes very easily with one hand. It carries tip up for fast deployment. In a self defense situation, you definitely want a fast deployment. I carry my knife for self defense and utility. I carry it every day and use it a lot, and it still looks great and functions like when it was new. The fun part for me is when a friend asks me if I have, I whip it out, deploy the blade and hand it to him butt first. They always say, wow is that an automaic knife, or they say, now that is a knife. Makes me proud to carry it. I want to buy another one in case I ever lost mine. Last but not least, buying from knifecenter. Com is always a pleasure. The service is great, they are reputable, and very dependable, and you can't beat the price.

Hen buying this knife I thought I was buying what I call a jewellery knife ( a great looking knife that one might buy to show off at work and after six months of EDC its crapped out and you through it out) But this thing is great the way it's designed fits in your hand like nothing else the jimping is in the right spots the action is fast and smooth the blade shape makes for a very multipropse use its a perfect EDC. Only cons for me are steel quality (good for price) and the pocket clip

Another Great S & W knife
After a couple of misses with some of the 'Extreme Ops' knives, I'm the proud owner of 2 new 'Black Ops-Gen 4' that came my way & I must say Taylor Brands redeemed themselves well with the Gen 4 line...better looks, better feel and best of all, better overall quality that reminds me of their older(and discontinued) fixed blades. I know at this price point it's hard to ask of a production blade what you would of a designer knife but toss one of these around & it's sure to bring a smile to your face...plus you won't have to explain why the rent check is 'late' or the kids don't have shoes...win-win in my book.
