CR2392: 2392 Deviation
The Deviation is a folding design from Terry Lee Renner that is very different from the norm. The 3.10" blade is made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a mirror polished/brushed satin finish and hollow ground modified tanto shape. It's a wonderful design with bold, appealing lines and a very ergonomic shape. The handle is 4.54", made from 2Cr13 stainless steel with a cool blue Ti-Nitride finish. It's a linerlock design, utilizing the IKBS bearing system so the action is buttery smooth. It's something you will look forward to carrying each and every day.

This Terry Lee Renner-designed futuristic looking everyday carry knife defies convention. The titanium nitride finished two-tone handle is uniquely angular yet surprisingly comfortable to hold. Meanwhile an IKBS ball bearing pivot system makes it easy to deploy the tanto tip blade anywhere. Mars, for instance.

Knifemaker Terry Lee Renner of Palmetto, Florida, has always been intrigued by sharp lines. He took a lot of inspiration from his deep-relief wood carving, and incorporated it into the design of the Deviation. Renner wanted to create a knife that would inspire the same intrigue he feels for those sharp powerful lines, in every person that touches the handle, and he did just that with this one of a kind knife.

With looks that seem more at home on a UFO than a belt loop, this is one that will open eyes and make jaws drop when they see this unique knife for the very first time. The IKBS ball bearing pivot system deploys the blade smoothly and quickly. And once open, a two–toned tanto blade with mirror polish on the grind signals to any, and all, life forms that you're ready to get to work.

When you want a stylish knife that's still beefy enough to use anywhere, reach for the Deviation. Going against the norm of folding knives.

Wonderful knife, for everyday use and for formal occasions! Only dislike is the opening mechanism, but that's personal taste. Bought one for a friend for Christmas, he loved it too!

Decent for the price
This is a nice futuristic looking knife. The IKBS bearing system allows for a really smooth pivot. However do note that the detent on this knife is quite soft, at least on my knife, which occasionally leads to unsuccessful opening when I lazily pull on the flipper tab. Take note that the edges of the handle scales are at almost 90 degree angles which may cause some discomfort if grip tightly for prolonged periods and the finger that you use to pull on the flipper tab may experience some discomfort when opening the blade should your finger rub against the edges. Also the liner has some very aggressive gimping which may start to hurt your fingers after multiple opening and closings of the knife. However with all that said, at this price point, a decent good looking choice

Awesome knife!
I bought this knife because it was a good price point for me and I like the way it looks. I use it as an EDC. It is a big, heavy folder - some will not like it as an EDC because of the size or weight. I find that it fits well on the clip or in my pocket without dragging my pants down. When it's in your hand, it is a very good fit, you know it's there. To me it feels capable and sturdy rather than over-made or tool-ish. One of the sharpest blades I've seen right out of the box. I really haven't found anything that I don't like about it yet.
