Description
KUKI4446: Ki4446 Quicksilver Folding Knife
Kizer Cutlery

The Kizer Ki4446 Quicksilver flipper is a very good looking, very unique everyday carry (EDC) with a nice stout feeling in the hand. Change is the essence when it comes to the Quicksilver. Comfortable and light with its titanium handle, but touch the flipper, and the knife will show its mercurial nature with its modified tanto blade that's all business. The handles are made from milled titanium with a comfortable, ergonomic shape. The design flairs out toward the butt end, locking it into your hand during use. The blade though is what is really going to catch your eye about this design. It's like a recurve tanto shape with some belly toward the front end and gorgeous grind lines, crafted from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. S35VN is a high-grade steel with exceptional edge retention and wear resistance. The knife features a flow-through design, frame lock, flipper tab, and lanyard hole.

Kizer uses high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts. This method is slower than laser or water jet but Kizer feels quality is worth the wait. Each component in Kizer knives is precision machined and engineered to the finest tolerances. The final fit, finish, action, and sharpness of each knife is achieved entirely by hand, employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship developed by generations of cutlery masters. Dedicated craftsman honoring the long-term goal of making the best knives possible is what Kizer brings to you.

WOW!
I truthfully didn't expect a whole lot out of this knife (I purchased it on sale, incredibly cheap). But low and behold, this is a GEM!Fit and finish are right up there where you would hope for on any of your knives. The action right out of the box was simply incredible...This knife "flew open" and "dropped shut" imediatly without breaking in. It's sharp enough to cut the b***s off a gnat's bottom, and slice them if you have guests coming for dinner! The new scale design with the "basket-weave" tail end is awesome. All in all, it shocked me! It's one of the best knives I own! Now do me a favor fellas, get some more Megatherium's in stock. I want that Ishim piece so bad it hurts! Thanks, Jim

Buy It Before It's Gone Update
Just an update to my previous initial review. Have now daily carried and initial minor flipper resistance is gone. Opens super smooth and locks with authority. Over 50% of frame lock secures blade. No wiggle, no blade wobble, blade perfectly centered. Super sharp out of box, still hair shaving sharp after heavy use.Again...buy it now before they're gone.

Just wow
I just received this knife. I was a little apprehensive because it’s a Chinese company but the price was really good and figured I would give it a shot. I am so impressed with it the size is great the blade is very sharp, the fit an finish is superb and you would be very hard pressed to find another knife this size at this weight for the price. The ergonomics of it are great as well. I am amazed at the quality and this is my new favorite knife! You won’t be disappointed!
