SP219GP: C219GP Q Ball
Named for the ceramic ball bearing that is the heart of its lock mechanism, the Q Ball is a combination of extreme cutting performance, compact size, and silky-smooth action. The business end of is a full-flat-ground VG10 Wharncliffe-style blade with a generous finger choil that encourages a forward grip. It is complemented by a wide, hand-filling handle crafted with skeletonized full stainless steel liners, a solid stainless steel back spacer, and textured G10 scales. The blade and handle are joined by Spyderco's Ball Bearing Lock -- a patented mechanism that offers exceptionally smooth operation and impressive lock strength. Together with a reversible, deep-pocket wire clip and a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole in the blade, it makes carry and operation of the Q Ball ambidextrous.

Stout little Wharncliffe
If you are looking for a small Wharncliffe or maybe you are a fan of the Manix 2 design, but want something smaller; then this is the knife for you. To me it feels and looks like a mini-Manix2 with a Wharncliffe blade. I use it for EDC and I find it fits in that little change pocket in my jeans. It uses VG-10 steel that I can get very sharp and looks good. Does show scratches after some use, but over all I think for EDC steel VG-10 is great. I love the ball lock, though it can be difficult to get to. Once you use the knife a few times the action becomes smoother and I have developed the skill to get to the ball easier. The only gripe I have is its stout. Its a bit on the heavy side for its size. Over all a good, different and interesting small knife.
