Heavy Duty Sword Cane - Aluminum Shaft

The Cold Steel Heavy Duty Sword Cane is quite possibly the toughest and widest sword cane ever built! It features an extra strong partial crook handle made from heavy duty nylon, and a 2mm thick aluminum shaft that's heat-treated for strength. The tapered shaft is capped with a thick rubber ferrule for better traction on slick, icy sidewalks or uneven terrain. The concealed blade is released by quickly pulling on the handle to break the suction of its friction lock. Made from Stainless Steel with a proprietary heat treatment and tempering, its a hard and resilient blade that's sturdy enough for both cutting and thrusting. This is no mere show piece! I recently had foot surgery and wanted a sturdy cane in my recovery that would also provide me some defensive capability. This sword cane fulfilled all my expectations. It is a quality product and a steal for the money. The sword is a real, heavy-duty blade that would rival those made in the nineteenth century hay-day of such devices. As a cutlery collector and life-long martial artist, it is now one of my favorite pieces. It is not just for looks or a novelty item. It is a legitimate and solid weapon. The cane by itself is a sturdy club. Anyone on the business end of the sword would be surely sorry.

It's my hiking stick. I purchased this mainly for the weapon it conceals. I don't need a cane, I need a concealed weapon. Animal attacks can and do happen, I don't want it to happen to me.
