Knife Standards
Knife Standards began as a shared passion between founder ATR and his father, RR, whose mutual love for pocket knives sparked a journey from collecting and reviewing to designing original blades. What started as a simple sketch on paper took on a profound purpose when ATR’s father encouraged him to start creating his own. Tragically, his father passed away just weeks after offering those inspiring words, turning that conversation into a lifelong mission to bring his father's vision to life.
Driven to honor his legacy, ATR obsessively refined his craftsmanship through endless paper prototypes, clay handle sculptures, and meticulously tuned blade geometries. Today, every Knife Standards product is built to uncompromising standards as a testament to that bond and relentless dedication. To keep that memory alive, every single knife produced subtly features his father's initials, 'RR', somewhere on the design.
