This revolutionary design uses two opposing discs that cam into an internal groove that is machined into each tube. Lockout is simple, stable and secure. Positive expansion complements push button retraction.

The Talon Baton cap provides a gross motor means of unlocking an expandable baton. There is no need to locate a button or press it into a recess. Apply pressure to the back of the cap to release the lock. Push the tip of the baton against the palm, a body part or inside of a baton scabbard. The stainless steel cap is strong. It provides a clean sleek appearance. Release is quick and simple.

Press to release the baton lock from any location of the back of the cap. Push the tip of the baton against a body part, the inside of a baton scabbard or the palm.

Batons have evolved over the years and engineers at ASP have determined that by having slightly more overlap from one tube to another, it increases the strength of the baton. Although the individual tubes will add up to 21", the overlap will slightly reduce the overall length.
