ASP52260: Steel Agent A30 Concealable Baton

ASP

The combination of discreet concealment and rapid presentation make the Agent baton an ideal impact weapon for administrators, investigators and undercover operatives. The baton incorporates a 4140 steel striking surface. The 4140 Steel middle shaft and handle are forged to shape and then precision machined. The grip is fine line, Crosstec knurled with spiral micro grooves. The shafts of the Agent baton are black chrome plated.

The Agent baton expands to 11.8". It has the form, fit and striking potential of a duty baton. The reduced diameter, low profile grip of the Agent may be concealed inside the waistband or worn on the belt. The Snap-Loc Clip may be adjusted to a variety of positions along the handle to enhance concealment or ease of presentation. As with all DiscLoc batons, the Agent is retracted with a push of the cap button.

Best short stick on the market.
This is perfect for when you need a baton but you only have the ability to conceal a pocket stick. This is heavier and tougher than my Aluminum ASP50 even though it is much smaller. It has a hard steel tip which is a huge improvement over the eraser tip on the A50, but it still has the fast opening action and fast retractability of the ASP Agent System. Compared to the S&W 12 friction lock baton it is heavier, and has a smooth tip compared to the 90 degree edges on the S&W. The tip also protrudes when closed making it an excellent pocket stick. I would say it is barely capable of delivering law enforcement approved strikes to the quads and deltoids (if you are 200lbs plus and mostly muscle). It gives you just enough length to knuckle tap an aggressor with a decent size pocket knife. This weapon is going to be much more effective using serious Yawara Ju-Jutsu, and Kali technique in situations where you are trying to survive, not preserve your assailants good looks. In the case of a dog attack this is something other than your hands or pepper that is less than lethal, but it is short and isn't going to give you a lot of room for error. Bottom line this is an expanding pocket stick, but it is the best expanding pocket stick you're going to find.
