Inspired by the earthy tones found in outdoor gear, backpacking kits, and accessories around the campsite, this 535-09 Bugout sets itself apart from others they've built thanks to handle scales that contrast a gray anodized 6061-T6 aluminum bolster with Redstone Richlite onlays, plus a few other added pops of color found in the orange anodized thumb stud and backspacer. Featuring a premium CPM-S90V stainless steel stonewashed blade, this unique 535-09 Bugout has the same stunningly lightweight and compact feel as its predecessors and remains the ideal EDC on any outdoor adventure from the mountain trail to tasks around town.

Very nice sturdy knife. More heft when compared to the Grivory slabs. I own several Bugouts, aluminum, carbon fiber, titanium, original grivory. All are great knives! I really find the drop point best for all of my applications (makes a wonderful "slicer". I own over 3 dozen different Benchmade knives. Most are the axial lock bar type blade lock. Just a note - my # 2 favorite is the mini griptilian.
