Benchmade

Designed for flippers who prefer a smaller frame, the 82 Laro is a mid-size balisong best described as a scaled-down version of the full-size 85 Ti balisong. More EDC friendly with a 3.6” SelectEdge CPM-MagnaCut premium stainless steel blade with a Stonewash finish and a sleek recurved drop-point blade profile, the Laro features thrust bearing pivots for fast and fluid rotation, plus handles milled from single-billet titanium for stereo precision. A magnetic latch lock keeps the latch out of the way during handle manipulation. When you’re not flipping this pristine balisong, utilize the black Boltaron sheath with a pocket clip for easy daily carry.

Same Old, Same Old
If BM's plan was to modernize a 20 year old design-- the mission was a success. The blade steel, handle material and milling are very good. The overall design, weight and handle bias are certainly from the past and underwhelming. There are certainly better designed knives of equal or higher quality available at a lower price point. Benchmade products are just not what they once were....

Outstanding EDC Bali
Pros: very sharp OTB, superb finish and quality, smooth pivots and bearings, useful “sheath” Cons: “pocket clip” on sheath is more of a belt clip (not a bad thing, just not quite as advertised) Get one before they’re gone!
