What a Knife !!
I hate to say this, but when I took the knife out of the box I wasn't overly impressed. However... it didn't take long to see why this is such a popular Benchmade knife. I immediately put it into the EDC rotation and it quickly became my "go-to" carry. I could easily repeat all the positive traits of this knife (that have been expressed many time before). So I will... at least just a few... the axis lock system - yikes is it nice ! It took a little while for me to get used to it. But after a very short time I was wishing more of my knives had this lock system. So Nice !! The blade steel... S30V !! When I first handled the knife, I thought the G10 handles were going to be to slick... boy was I wrong. They are smooth... but just the right amount of "smooth". Feels great and the more you handle it the more confident you feel about it. So bottom line... Great Knife... So glad I bought it !

The perfect knife?
This knife feels like it weighs less than a delica, but the blade is larger, and is of a beautiful shape, it also opens and closes with ease due to the axis lock. It is fairly expensive, but you are paying for a great warranty, that's the way I think of it. I have always wanted a 940, I thought If I bought a spyderco pm2 it would fill the void, but it didn't. I am very happy with my 940-2, Im trying to stop myself from buying another 940 because it is just that good of an edc knife. My knife had no blade play and the blade was centered, the only issue I have is a little axis lock bar wiggle, I heard it is normal though, I also asked benchmade for a deep carry clip, so they are sending me one free in the mail.

Another great 940, what else can you say
Who doesn't love a 940. This latest version is as great as any and super light if you're an ounce counter.
